Much mud, but the old Landrover did the most work!

Team Effort

Sincere thanks to Phil who checked three of us out to continue instructing next year, without which we would be short of four of our small instructor team!

After a short shower and a pot of gold in the Puch’ we continued for a total of 31 flights!

Merry Christmas

Can’t think why this mug found its way under the Christmas tree.

Almost at the end of the worst (least opportunity to fly) November and December.  At least we can now look forward to the days getting longer and just cross our fingers that the airfield gets a chance to dry out.

Sound advice?

“When flying try to stay in the middle of the air. Do not go near the edges of it. The edges of the air can be recognized by the appearance of ground, buildings, sea, trees and interstellar space. It is much more difficult to fly there.”

And compliments of the Season to all who helped rig, hooked on cables, drove winches, worked through reams of paperwork, sat for hours in the back seat and generally made it all possible.

And if you’re stuck for gift ideas, how about one of these?

Portmoak update

Today is our last day before trailing back down to shalbourne tomorrow.

Out of the 9 possible flying days we flew on 6 of them. Great flights and good company made this expedition very enjoyable and well worth the trip up.

Here are a few more photos from yesterday .
