* The adjusting screws are illustrated in this diagram . Correct mixture is achieved by winding the adjusting screw out until the engine runs rough and then back in again until it runs smoothly. This must be done at tick-over using the small screw above the throttle adjustment screw and on 'Wide Open Throttle' using the large hexagon headed screw.

Correct mixture is achieved by winding the adjusting screw out until the engine runs rough and then back in again until it runs smoothly. This must be done at tick-over using the small screw above the throttle adjustment screw (marked IDLE in the image) and again on 'Wide Open Throttle' using the large hexagon headed screw (marked WOT).
