The secret of longevity:
Change oil and filter frequently
Flush cooler for time to time
Keep oil cool
When changing oil, disconnect top hose from oil cooler and run engine until oil stops draining. When refilling use Dextron II ATF. Fill to top mark then run engine, keep alternately topping up and running engine until oil comes up to bottom mark. Oil level will gradually come up to top mark after engine has been stopped for some time.
