All Shalbourne Gliding gliders are equipped with the FLARM system that can warn you of the proximity of other gliders and, sometimes, hang-gliders, para-gliders, and small, powered aircraft including helicopters. This does not absolve you from an excellent lookout; hopefully, you will spot the distant glider before Flarm warns you.
