The first time in ages the Wednesday boys had a good soaring day with three flights of over 2 hours and several more of half an hour plus. The above photo was taken by Stephen O from the back seat.

There was also, very briefly, a Wednesday girl when Liz Sparrow landed her Duo Discus for some reason other than nose powdering. Only moments later she thrust aside an empty Ka13 and disappeared as quickly as she had arrived. Well hardy har har Liz! had you passed a little social time with the old geezers sitting by the caravan, you wouldn’t have missed all the cakes!
